A perfect day for hot tea and hard work...
Well, it's another rainy day in L.A. today, these sorts of days don't come around very often so when they do, I like to enjoy every last second. Rainy days make perfect studio days, there's no temptation to run outside for a sunny walk around the block, or to put on real shoes even!
Here's a little glimpse of the project currently on the lace pillow. It's quite a big project, and it's definitely been a challenge so far, but it seems to be going well. I'm not even a third of the way through, so we'll see, big chunky letters are HARD!
And of course, as I write this, my beautiful grey L.A. day has begun to disappear, hello sun!

Fiberarts Magazine 2009 Student Showcase
Rosemary Dardick's lacework has been selected by Fiberarts Magazine as part of the 2009 Student Showcase. The November/December 2009 issue features Fiberarts Magazine's fifth annual student showcase featuring work being produced both in the United States and internationally. Based on refinement, consistency, and presentation artists' work was selected to represent today’s high quality, innovative student work.
